Biography

Professor Shah is Professor of Cardiology at King’s College Hospital and King’s College London with a specialist interest in coronary artery disease, interventional cardiology, percutaneous coronary intervention, heart failure and cardiomyopathy. He trained at the University of Wales College of Medicine and has also worked in the US. He was appointed Consultant in 1993 in Cardiff and Professor of Cardiology at King’s in 1998. Professor Shah is Head of the Department of Cardiology, Head of King’s College London Cardiovascular Division and also Director of the King’s British Heart Foundation Centre of Excellence.
