Biography

Dr Lew qualified as a doctor at the University of Nottingham. She completed her dermatology higher specialist training at major teaching hospitals in London and in the West Midlands (including rotations at a tertiary skin cancer referral centre and children’s hospital). She currently holds a substantive NHS consultant post at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Lew is experienced in all aspects of dermatology, including inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, nail and hair disorders and benign skin lesions. She is highly competent at performing skin surgery for the removal of both cancers and non-cancerous lesions.

Dr Lew also has an interest in treating children with skin conditions and runs the paediatric dermatology service in her NHS role. She understands the importance of undertaking a holistic and patient-centred approach in the management of dermatological conditions. She is actively involved in education and training, including supervision of GP trainees and GPs with a special interest in dermatology. She has publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented extensively at both national and international conferences.
