Tamir Rashid obtained his PhD from the University of Cambridge, did a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, USA and trained in medicine at Imperial College, London (St Mary’s). After several years as a Clinical Lecturer in Cambridge, he was awarded an MRC Clinician Scientist Fellowship and moved to King’s to set up a research group aiming to translate the very latest developments in stem cell technologies into clinical practice.
