Biography
Dr Raj Srirajaskanthan is a consultant gastroenterologist and physician at King's College Hospital. His specialist intrests include gastrointestinal cancers, irritable bowel syndrome, endoscopy and neuroendocrine tumours (NETS). He is a nationally accredited bowel cancer screening colonscopist and is the deputy lead of the Neuroendocrine Tumour Unit, ENETS Centre of Excellence.
Dr Srirajaskanthan graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' medical school with his medical degree and a BSc.
He undertook his postgraduate training in hopsitals in Oxford, London and South East England. He is accomplished in endoscopy and colonoscopy and has attended a number of advanced endoscopy courses. He was awarded the British Society of Gastroenterology travel fellowship to the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2010 he was awarded an MD(Res) from University College London following breakthrough clinical research into neuroendocrine tumours. He is still actively involved in research and is vastly published in a number of journals.
