Biography

Dr Hull was appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist at King's College Hospital in March 2014. He has a varied practice which includes looking after haemodialysis patients and patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. His outpatient clinics focus on his specialist interest of autoimmune renal disease including ANCA vasculitis, lupus nephritis and primary glomerulonephritis alongside general nephrology where he manages patients with chronic kidney disease including diabetic nephrology, hypertension, renovascular disease and polycystic kidney disease.

Dr Hull studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and completed his training as a specialist in renal medicine on the South Thames Renal Programme. During that time he completed his PhD as a Welcome Trust Clinic PhD fellow at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre at Imperial College.

Dr Hull is active in clinical research and was appointed as a member of the King's Renal Research Governance Board in 2015. His research interests are focused on patients with autoimmune renal disease.
