Biography

Dr Norwood is a Consultant Neurologist undertaking both general and subspecialty neurology practice. She heads the acute inpatient neurology team at King’s. She has a specialist interest in all aspects of muscle diseases and myasthenia gravis. Specific research interests include pregnancy in patients with myasthenia gravis and muscle disease. Dr Norwood studied medicine at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and undertook a PhD on structural and protein biochemistry in Cambridge. After completion of her specialty training she was appointed as a Consultant at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust becoming the Lead Clinician in 2008.
