Biography

Mr Mahesh (Max) Chauhan is a Specialist Oral Surgeon and is qualified in both dentistry and medicine. He provides services to medically complex dental patients before major surgery or medical interventions. He also treats patients who require the surgical removal of wisdom teeth, apicectomy and dental implants. Mr Chauhan developed the use of ultrasound guided biopsies to detect foreign bodies in the soft tissue following trauma.

Mr Chauhan qualified as a dentist in 1992 and was entered on the General Dental Council specialist list in 1999. He was appointed as a Consultant in Oral Surgery at Royal South Hants Hospital in January 2014 whilst continuing as a specialist in oral surgery at King's College Hospital.
