Biography

Dr McCormick is Clinical Director of Child Health and a Consultant Paediatrician with specialist interest in neurorehabilitation and epilepsy. He trained at Otago Medical School in New Zealand before completing his postgraduate training in the UK and in Australia. He lectured at UCLH London for three years researching perinatal brain injury before joining King’s. Dr McCormick cares for children with all forms of epilepsy, children that have acquired brain injuries or chronic neurological disorders (including cerebral palsy and gives advice on current condition, care needs and prognosis for medicolegal claims.
