Biography

Dr Gordon is a Consultant Rheumatologist. He has thirteen years' experience in rheumatology with particular subspecialist expertise in connective tissue disease. He is experienced in a wide range of sub-specialist areas such as dermatomyositis, polymyositis, connective tissue disease, osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis and vasculitis in addition to general musculoskeletal rheumatology. He is also experienced in the inpatient management of acutely ill patients with multisystem rheumatic disease on the wards and ITU.

His private practice is based in the Guthrie Clinic at King’s College Hospital where he was appointed as a Consultant in 2004. Dr Gordon has trained at various international centres of excellence for rheumatology in the UK including Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust where he completed his PhD and is now in charge of the connective tissue disease service at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
