Biography
Mr Segaran provides both general urological care as well as subspecialist laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He is the lead for kidney cancer at King’s College Hospital and is part of the regional Specialist Multidisciplinary Team for kidney cancer based at Guy’s Hospital, where he also practices.
Mr Segaran trained in Urology in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region, and subsequently dedicated a year to training in laparoscopic and robotic kidney surgery at Frimley Park Hospital before being appointed to his current posts at King’s and Guy’s. He has a keen interest in teaching and training and holds a postgraduate diploma in medical education from Cardiff University.
In addition to his subspecialist practice Mr Segaran has a broad-ranging practice in general urology, including the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms, kidney stones and men’s health.
