Biography

Mr Rashid is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at King's College Hospital where he is also the Lead Vascular Clinician. Mr Rashid has a specialist interest in peripheral vascular disease especially in diabetic patients; carotid artery surgery to prevent strokes; abdominal aortic aneurysm both open and EVAR (by stent). He is recognised as a world expert in the management of peripheral vascular disease especially in diabetic patients. Mr Rashid is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London and is an educational supervisor for trainees. Mr Rashid is regularly invited to speak at national and international meetings and regularly publishes peer reviewed articles in scientific journals.
