Outpatients

Our outpatient consulting rooms are on the fourth floor of the Guthrie Wing. We have a comfortable waiting area where you can sit and relax.

Making an appointment

Our experienced outpatient team can help you with making an appointment or advising on the appropriate consultant to see.

UK patients: you need a letter of referral from your GP. This can be an “open” referral to King’s Private or to a specific consultant. We can assist you with finding a consultant if you have an "open" referral. If you have UK private healthcare insurance you must authorise your treatment with your insurer before your first consultant appointment.

Appointments with some consultants are made directly with their personal assistant (PA). If you know the name of the consultant you wish to see, check our consultant database for their contact number.

When you make your appointment, we will tell you the date, time and location and let you know if you need to make any specific preparations before your consultation, such as fasting.

If you need help making an outpatient appointment, or have any questions about an existing appointment, contact the Outpatient Team on +44 (0)20 3299 3572.
